I want to say that I love each one of you in the Name of Jesus. I don’t love you with the love that the world has. But I have the love of God. God is so rich, so full that HIS love abounds within HIS people.
And I CARE for each one of you here tonight in a very special way. And my desire is this night that you might be TOUCHED in the very crown of your head to the very sole of your feet; that your life would be flooding by that miraculous power of the Holy Ghost, or the Holy Spirit, which ever way you want to call it. It’s the same: the Holy Spirit of God that dwells within us.
The Bible plainly says, “…greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” [John 4:4b]
Father God we pray for a mighty touch from Heaven. Father, I pray that you would bind all these hindrances. Lord, I pray that you would send your angels right now as a army to surround this grounds in Jesus name. And Father, we pray for thy divine protection. Father we pray for the liberty of Thy mighty Spirit of God to move in a glorious way; to do your will, to do your work, as only YOU can do it. And Father, we pray in Jesus name that you would loose the glorious power of God, here, to move upon your people. I pray for the love of God to be real, to be alive. And Father, we come against all the things of detriment, that bring these people down, and all of us this night! I pray for a REFRESHING from Heaven this night. I pray the refreshing of the “later rain” of the brush of God [that] would come down, and be MIGHTY this day. Lord God, that YOU would bind the powers of darkness that has brought YOUR people down. And YOU would loose that blessing of LOVE upon your people, that YOU would move upon them with Thy grace. Lord God, that while we are yet sinners that you loved us. [Romans 5:8] And YOU made a way through the gift of THY Son, Jesus, [by] that wonderful life that Jesus lived, that we might have a wonderful life with YOU while we are here and can be extended through eternity forever and ever and ever. And we THANK you Lord for that wonderful hope. Father God, we just feel THY presence. We feel the anointing. We feel this: we are on holy ground. For where YOUR Spirit is there IS liberty. [2nd Corinthians 3:17] We claim it this night in Jesus name. Where two or three shall gather in YOUR name you declare that YOU will be in the MIDST of them! [Matthew 18:20] This night we CLAIM it! This night we claim as we believe: VICTORY this night. We pray for faith, believing that hearts is going to be changed. That lives are going to be touched by the miraculous of the miraculous of mighty miracles of God, this night. We praise YOU and we give you glory and honor. Worthy was the Lamb! Jesus: worthy! WORTHY! Worthy was Jesus! Lord, your spotless life that you lived, Jesus, that you become that spotless life, that Lamb that was slain that I might be set free this night, that others around here could be set free, that we would ENJOY the blessings of being saved forevermore! Having the blessings of YOUR presence upon us, having that example of YOUR LOVE upon us, Lord God, that we FEEL the blessed hope of YOUR coming. And Lord, we know that if our hearts would stop beating, in a second, we know where we should be. We would just be on the other side in THY presence. And Lord, we know that each one of us, your Word declares that it is appointed unto man to die, then comes the judgment. [Hebrews 9:27] And Father, this night we pray that each one of us will make restitution. If we need to be, that, Lord God, we will make restitution, whatever it needs to be. Lord, that we might all be ready in this room. Lord God, that there would not be ONE in the sound of my voice that would not know Jesus, would not be ready to meet our Lord and Savior. And Father, we know YOUR coming is soon. Father, YOU know, ONLY, the hour when you are going to send your Son back. But Jesus, we know it is coming, coming soon. And Lord God, we thank you for the infilling of the Holy Spirit here tonight to dwell within the hearts of YOUR people. Lord, what a blessed blessing upon blessings from “greater is HE that is within us than he that is within the world.” [1st John 4:4b] And Father, we give you GLORY, honor and praise. And we ask in the wonderful name of Jesus, in the Name above all names. Amen! Amen!
Hallelujah! I’m excited! God is good!
You know, Jesus is the answer. We hear a lot of arguments in this day that we are living in. A lot of people do a lot of speaking. A lot of people do a lot of sayings. A lot of it is NOT directed by God. But I’m here tonight believing that God is the answer for anything that we have. HE is the purpose of our life. HE is the direction of our life. HE is “…the way, the truth, and the life…” No man “…cometh unto the Father, but by…” JESUS! [John 14:6]
You know, to make this possible God had to make HIS Son, which is part of HIM, to be yielded to God, which Jesus was: totally yielded to God. And HE came as that babe in swaddling clothes laying in that manager for a reason, here tonight; that HE would spend around 30 to 33 years as unto God: A PERFECT LIFE, without reproach. That through that sinless life that we might have the forgiveness of sin.
WHAT A BLESSING! The Bible says, “The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.” [Proverbs 10:22] The Bible says also, “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” [1st Peter 5:7] Did you realize that God CARES for you?? And, there is people talking about, “Well, we got plans..” all these things. But you know, there is no plan like God’s plan!
God somehow made this vessel, what we live in. You know, I’m a Caterpillar mechanic. My hands; look [Brother Freedom holds up his hands for the group to see how hard such work is on hands.], tough and rough and all these things. But, my heart is not that rough, praise God! If it wasn’t for Jesus it would be just as rough as these old hands.
But one of these days God is going to give me new hands. And God’s going to give me a new body, a new life. It’s going to be WONDERFUL!
Can everyone hear me tonight?. [They answer yes.] And I want you know that I love each one of you. I’m not trying to scold here tonight. I’m not trying to boast in myself, because I am nothing! But I want [is] to just boast to my God. HE is worthy of all praise. HE is worthy of all honor. HE is worthy of ALL! And many times we forsake HIM. God is glorious that HE cares for us so much!
We’ve been redeemed, here tonight, by the blood of the Lamb, by that precious blood of Jesus, a blood that is above all blood! The blood that brings in the fellowship with God, that God grafts us into HIS family. It says, “HE came unto HIS own, and HIS own received HIM not. But as many as received HIM, to them gave HE POWER to become the sons of God,…” or the daughters of God, or a child of God. [John 1:11-12a] It says, My sheep know My voice and they come at MY call, and a stranger they do not know. [See John 10:4b-5]
God is the GOOD God, the glorious God. God made everything that we see. HE brought everything into existence by just speaking it, basically. It is impossible [for] us to realize completely what God is. But we know HE is good. We know HE is glorious. And we know that HE is the ANSWER. And HE is the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE. [John 14:6] That HE has a road, I believe, for each one of us tonight. And that pathway will lead us to Heaven, if we stay in the center of HIS will.
The Bible says, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” [Romans 6:23]
You know, many times we go through life, and if we are not careful we have a lot of sin. We was born in sin. And that sin seems like it cannot leave us with our good deeds, and all of the things that we might try. We might get out here and try to live the very best that I could do. But seems like our goodness is not good enough.
And when we finally accept Jesus, and come down to that place and say, “Lord, I’ve made a mess of my life. I need a new dose. I need an overdose of the Spirit of God. I need that blessings from on high. I’ve made a MESS of my life! And I want a new life, a new plan, a new direction, a new BLESSING in my heart and life. Take my heart, Lord, and make it over after YOUR will.”
And God is able to do that. But we have to call upon HIM. We will have to ask HIM, saying “Lord, I need YOU. I need that special touch, here tonight.”
And we realize that as time goes by, many of us walk and live careless lives. But, you know, I really believe that Jesus is coming back very soon. I believe the signs of the times are truly here. We may not all make it through that way of the grave. We may, if Jesus comes back, I believe that for those that know HIM, He’s going to take us home. That’s our blessed hope. It’s something to look forward to. It’s something to want to achieve. It is an achievement in life that many times we lose out [on] in [the] many [wrong] things that we do. We become failures in many avenues of work, all the things of our life.
But there is one avenue here tonight I hope that none of us fail with, that is having Jesus Christ as our personal savior. Knowing HIM, that strength, which is on a high that you can wake up in the middle of the night and say, “Lord, I need YOU right now. I just want to talk to YOU. I just want to talk to YOU.”
Jeremiah 33:3 says, “Call unto me,” That’s God speaking! “…and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” [Jeremiah 33:3]
Isn’t that wonderful that God is so big, so marvelous, so glorious? And yet God sees us as a worth while one to touch. In your deepest [pit], when you are down the lowest that you can go, when you are at the bottom of the pit, LIKE JONAH in that fish that God had prepared for him. That Jonah, when he cried out, God allowed that fish to put him on dry ground.
And that is really, many a time, the way we do. We find ourselves in the bottom of the bottom. “And Lord, I’ve made such a mess of my life. I need that new touch.” And when we just confess that the Bible says, “If we confess our sins, HE is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” [1st John 1:9]
Out of the mouth we confess God. [Romans 10:10] And we have to do that. That is hard. That is actually all God [requires]–I believe in that, right Pastor, [that’s all] we have to do, is just call on God. And through that God hears our faintest cry. And even when we don’t even know what to say ourselves, we’re so far out of joint with God that we don’t even know how to ask God — God sees and has mercy on us. He has mercy. And HE cares for us. And sometimes HE goes BEYOND, not one time, ALL the time! God is that wonderful.
When we have sleepless nights, God is the answer. When we have perilous times, and many of us go through perilous times, things that we don’t understand: HE’s the answer.
God’s love abounds beyond any description that we could speak, or see, or sense. He is beyond everything that we understand. The Bible says, “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.” [1 Corinthians 2:9-10]
God is preparing a HOME in Heaven for each one of us here tonight. In the Fourteenth Chapter of Saint John it says, “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” [John 14:1-3]
God has given the INVITATION. HE is sending out a GREAT invitation to all the world. “…God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not PERISH,…” That’s YOU! That’s me! We shouldn’t “perish.” [John 3:16]
God “…is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that ALL should come to repentance.” [2 Peter 3:9] God is MINDFUL of all of our situations.
In the Third Chapter of Exodus we see a passage way in the Bible where we see Moses, this man of God, that really had never talked to God, I don’t think in the fullness. In the Third Chapter we see that God causes a bush to be put on fire. And Moses looks and the bush is not being consumed. And Moses has never seen anything like this. You see something out here burn, and yet there is no decaying of the wood to the ashes. It is just there burning. Quite a sight!!
And Moses is drawn to it. And God speaks to Moses. And HE says, “Draw NOT nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet; for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.” [Exodus 3:5] And I believe as God’s people that there can be a “holy ground,” a place where we can come and have covenant with God.
I believe, here tonight, this is on “holy ground.” I believe that God’s Spirit is drawing many of you here tonight. And I know I’m talking very plain. But I believe that we need to realize that there’s a Heaven to gain and a Hell to shun. The Bible says, “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” [Matthew 6:19 & 21]
The things that we own of this world, shall [shortly] grow dim. The richness of this world, our cars, and all the things that we can think for, all these wonders that we want, as mankind wants to have, good times and all these things that the world looks to; but, I’m here tonight [to tell you] they’re as NOTHING, the Bible says as paper, it goes beyond that, [they are] as dung. It is nothing! IT IS NOTHING!
But, what we invest in Christ Jesus this night will go on forever! For “…what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” [Mark 8:37] If we would stand before God this very night, God would stop the time right now. We would all go and be in HIS presence. And we would have to stand accountable to HIM.
HE would say, “What have you done with your life? For I have given you a plan. I have given you MY best. I gave you MY Son, Jesus. And I sent forth MY people to SPEAK to you. But you have not listened!”
God has EVERYTHING under control. But God is beckoning HIS people. “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find REST unto your souls.” [Matthew 11:28-29] There is rest, there is peace, there is love. “…where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” [2 Corinthians 3:17b] “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.” [Isaiah 26:3]
If you become a child of God you have the right to TRUST in God, to call upon HIM while HE is near, seek HIS face. The Bible says, “Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the LORD…” THEY THAT WAIT UPON THE LORD, THEY THAT WAIT UPON THE LORD. THEY THAT WAIT UPON THE LORD!! “…shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” [Isaiah 40:28-31]
God gives us a guarantee. People lie, but God NEVER lies. I’ve proved God! HE says that we can prove God. I’ve seen God move many, many times. And God has never, ever failed me in what HE said!
I went one time on a call to a garbage dump. I wasn’t going to tell this, but…I went to Sonora. But a man was having troubles with a D8-k Caterpillar [bull dozer]. The transmission quit working. And they sent about four mechanics out of Stockton. [Those mechanics could not figure out what was wrong] And they were probably better mechanics than I was. But this man said, “I know a man that prays, and God hears his prayers.”
See, when God gives you beyond, HE gives you blessings. HE hears your prayer! When you give your heart to God it is more than just saying, “God I’m here.” But God re-enacts that bargain day by day, minute by moment. God is interested in your growth. God is interested in what you do, what you say. HE is interested in your performance. HE wants to bless us in that performance.
So as these men [who owned the Cat] came, I was working [several hundred miles from where that Cat was broken down] on a [Caterpillar] 528. And this man came through the gate and says, “I’ve got to send you to Sonora. We will pick you up in a plane. We’ve got a Cat that won’t run.” And he says, “No one can find out what’s wrong with it.”
You know, I prayed in the back [seat of that plane]. I take no glory myself, because I didn’t know what was wrong with it. But, I prayed in the back [seat]. This is God! And I know it! And that is why I want you to have enticement to what God wants: to be part of you. God wants to live around you, and bless you and touch you. Can you hear me tonight? HE wants to be with you RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE!
And you know, this life that we live is just for a short time. And I know it is good to have God now. But look toward eternity what is going to take place! You know, if you could figure the sparrow could fly to the farthest mountain, the farthest planet [carrying a grain of sand], back and forth [until that bird carried all the sand on all the shores of all the beaches of the world], it would just be the starting of eternity. Eternity is forever and ever and ever. It is going to be a long time. We need to make some good choices right now. We need to call upon God, like in Nineveh!
We need to call upon God and proclaim a fast. “Lord God, I want to do THY will because I believe YOU are coming soon. I want what YOU have for me. In this night, I want ALL YOU have. I want to be blessed by YOU this night.
Jabez prayed that prayer of faith. He said, I want YOU to “…enlarge my coast.” [1 Chronicles 4:10] I want YOU to bless me. There comes a time, here tonight, for all of us have to say, “Lord I want MORE of YOU!” And if we get to our inner closet, all of us need that special walk, that special talk, that special BLESSING!
So as I flew down to Sonora, I was in the back of a 210 Cessna, and I was praying. And the Lord spoke to my heart. HE said, “Get rid of the hindrance when you are there and I will tell you what’s wrong.”
And I got down there and there was a [18 wheeler] tire wedged in the right track. This is probably foreign to some of you. But it was wedged down in there. And this man that owned the machine, one of the owners, has now gone to heaven. He’s gone. I told him that I would like to have that tire [taken] out of the track. And these men, there was two or three of them there, says “Stupid mechanic, what’s he want a tire out. That ain’t the problem!! That tire has nothing to do with what is making this Caterpillar [not] run.”
But the Bible says, obedience is better than sacrifice. [1st Samuel 15:22b] That’s what God told me to do. I KNEW that it was what God wanted me to do! As soon as I got rid of that hindrance it was like God just opened the windows of Heaven. I reached my hand on that filter [that was located under where that tire had been] and I started to pull it [the filter] out and at that time, I can’t tell you exactly why, but I knew [by the Spirit] that the left final drive, clear [in the] back of the machine was full of mud and it was bringing contamination in the oil system. And they couldn’t find it.
And that is what sin is sometimes. It’s so subtle, comes in, and pretty soon we quit praying, we quit going to church, we quit seeing God. We need to pray to seek God. Because that’s the way sin is: it comes in real slow. The enemy, the one that brings forth that sin, is the master one: the enemy. And he wants to kill, destroy and steal. But Jesus has come that we might have life, and more abundant life. [John 10:10]
And as I became obedient to God within two minutes I said, “Give me a wrench! I’m going to take that fill-plug off.” And I didn’t know, but God’s Spirit is beyond our thinking.
That’s why I’m here tonight. God spoke to me and said, “There’s a lot, a lot of PEOPLE that needed to KNOW…” what I’m telling you here tonight. And, it’s REAL! God wants to be PART OF YOU!
We have pastors that work for God. But HE wants the laymen ALSO that work for HIM, that they bring fruit to the heart of your people. Our brother here tonight [the Mission representative], I remember him. [Brother Freedom had known that Brother many years earlier in another city. And now that Brother had come to God and was working in the mission. Brother Freedom was so blessed to see this one had come into the Kingdom of God.] God is the ANSWER!!
And I pulled that plug out of that final drive. And everybody was really laughing [at Brother Freedom because what he was doing made no sense to them]. And that is what they did in Noah’s day! They laughed at Noah. “Old, silly Noah! Built an ark. Silly Noah!!”
And Noah just kept doing that Ark. Oh, hallelujah!! I feel the PRESENCE OF GOD HERE TONIGHT TO BLESS YOU, TO TOUCH YOU. GOD CARES FOR YOU HERE TONIGHT! And you need to realize that HE has invested HIS own Son, Jesus, that you could be saved.
I pulled that plug out, [and] dirt came out. I knew then in a second, God showed me! And that Cat was delivered to my shop [250 miles north]. I had the privilege, it wasn’t a privilege it was work, [of] tearing that machine apart. It was exactly like God said! When I cleaned it all up it worked perfect and it worked from then on. [The machine was full of mud!]
But people will miss it! God’s Spirit understands things that we don’t KNOW!! When I first, years ago, wanted to be somebody that could follow God. And I thought I had to do it only in church. And I believe in church! But also God come to me to be able to talk to people just like you. There’s an ANSWER! We are not all church warriors! But praise God, God wants to be part of us!!! We need to be alive!!!
And the power of God is the power that will save us. The Bible says, “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” [Romans 8:38-39]
That love of God!
God wants to touch you here tonight, from the very crown of your head to the very sole of your feet: put your feet on high by God! And the Spirit of God be upon you that, “…the joy of the LORD is your strength.” [Nehemiah 8:10b] If the calm of God is on your life you have JOY! If you can’t feel THIS, this night, we need to pray that you will!
If you cannot feel God’s tug at your heart tonight, I would like you to raise your hand. And I’ll make a covenant, and we’ll be praying for you. Those of you who want God, I wish that you invest in God. I’m not trying to be hard here tonight. But I love you! I care for you.
And I spent a lot of years in jail ministry. I spent, probably, about 15 years with hard cases. There is nothing too hard with God! God is real.
And you know of __________? [Brother Freedom names the name of a notorious criminal who kidnaped an adult and then locked that person in a box under his bed for many years. And for that crime was sentenced to prison for life.] I seen him accept Jesus Christ! And He told me, “You know, I’ve wasted my whole life! I’m never, ever getting out of jail.” But he said, “I’m going to have Jesus!”
I said to him, “Don’t let go of God! Whatever you do, I want to see you in Heaven! I want [to] see [you]!”
GOD FORGIVES!!!! Sometimes we can’t forgive ourselves. God wants to forgive us here this night. God wants to give you a place of acceptance. “Lord, I know that you are going to forgive me, tonight.”
Father God, in the name of Jesus I pray for a mighty blessing upon this audience. I pray that you would bless them this night, by the power of God! I PRAY FOR THE SHEKINAH GLORY TO COME DOWN, TO DELIVER those that are bound this night. Lord God, that YOU would set them free from the powers of darkness. Lord God, let them receive that blessing from on high, that they might receive JESUS as their personal savior, for that new walk, that new talk, that new direction, by the Spirit of God. Lord God, touch their feet. Put their feet to dancing by the Spirit of God; they are jumping in the presence of God, to feel thy dynamic ANOINTING. Your word declares that you will break forth the yoke with your anointing. [Isaiah 10:27] And this night we need that yoke broke, of the enemy. Loose your presence upon YOUR people this tonight. Touch them this night afull, this night. And Father, we pray this night: touch them this night. In the wonderful name of JESUS. Hallelujah!
I believe that God is coming back very soon. Every eye closed. I’ll make it easy. Any here tonight that would like to accept Jesus as your personal savior? Would you raise your hand, anyone? I’m going to put mine up. I want more of God!
You know, God will never pressure us. God’s a gentleman. But I’ll tell you, we can become a loser.
This night for those that have raised their hand, Father God I pray that YOU will fill them with thy blessing. Father, I pray that YOU will forgive them of the things that they have failed to do. And Father, I pray that YOU will come in their heart this night, in the name of Jesus. I pray that you would give them a new life, a new walk, a new talk. And I pray that YOU would visit their hearts in a very special way. I pray for the long drive of THY mighty Spirit upon them to MOVE upon them in a very special way. Lord God, we pray for YOUR mighty touch this night in Jesus Name.
I’m going to have the musicians come up here. And if anyone wants prayer, I’m here to pray for you, to believe for you. I believe that God is REAL. I’m an old, old time man of God who loves God. I’m getting old, but God has NEVER failed me once. HE is glorious! [Brother Freedom remained after the service to pray for those who came forward.]
