Rescue Mission Sermon, April 26, 2003

God is good! [Someone in the crowd adds, “All the time!”] Amen, “all the time,” isn’t HE? God is forever faithful.
I feel so humble to come here because I realize that I am nothing. But I know ONE that is everything, ONE that can keep you through times when you are discouraged, when the time that you don’t know which way to go, the presence of the Almighty. HE says, “I will never leave you. I will never forsake you.” [See Hebrews 13:5b] “I will be your God, and they shall be MY people.” [See Hebrews 8:10]
Oh what a precious gift that God has allowed us, that HE created us in HIS likeness, after HIS stature, apparently. But in that, God, with all that HE has done for us has created us. HE has made a way that we can fellowship with HIM while we are here on Earth. This is not the message, but just an introduction.
But while we are here, then we can have fellowship with HIM. And HE can be by our [side]. I have never been so happy, brothers and sisters, in my life! I woke up the other morning. I said I was just extremely happy! “…happy is that people, whose God is the LORD.” [Psalm 144:15b] That is the Bible! “…where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” [2 Corinthians 3:17] And God is that Spirit! Praise ye the Lord!
Heavenly Father we just praise YOU as we acknowledge YOU as our LORD and Saviour. We thank YOU for all the many, many blessings. Father I thank YOU for the provisions… YOU guided us. YOU have directed us. YOU have kept us in the hallow of THY great and mighty hand. YOU have brought protection. YOU have kept your keeping power. YOU have kept us from harm, and all these things that can come and beset us, and come against us, Father God. But YOU have brought an offense, that YOU have kept us, and YOU protected us. YOU have guided us. And YOU have directed us. And YOU have healed us. And YOU have set our way on high, Lord God, that our eyes are on that way to Heaven. And Lord this day I want us to pray that “I have made my reservations this night.” I have made my reservation for Heaven’s shore. And glory to God, we know that YOU are coming very soon. And YOU are coming for those, redeemed, who have made right, and asked YOU to come into their heart. And Lord God that YOU payed in full. YOU payed a debt that we could not pay. YOU payed a debt that YOU did not owe. YOU payed that debt that we might freely have life, and have MORE ABUNDANT life, through the power of God, that we can have that precious gift of eternal life, that is so VALUABLE in these last days. LIFE IS VERY SPECIAL! But Father we know that YOU come to give us more abundant life. And we thank YOU for that abundance that is in Jesus Christ, our Saviour. And Father this night we pray from the Holy Ghost, from Heaven, the Spirit of God to come in this meeting. We pray for YOUR guidance, for YOUR protection. We pray for angels to guard around this building. We claim for a mighty legion of angels to bring protection. We pray for the covering. We pray that YOU will seal, that no evil shall be able to come into this [place]. The Ninety-First Psalm: WE CLAIM IT, that no evil shall befall us, nor plague shall come in to our dwelling. And Father we pray that if there is any evil right now, that YOU would bind it, in the Name of Jesus. We loose the power of the Spirit of God to be alive and real. We believe that YOU are real, that what we are seeing, YOUR Word declares, “..we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” [2 Corinthians 4:18] And we believe through the eternal life of God that YOU will do a great work in every heart here this night. We pray that YOU will walk these isles, that YOU will touch hearts, lives, by the POWER of the Holy Spirit from Heaven. We pray that YOU bind all the problems they have, and YOU would loose HEALING to their lives, that YOU would loose the gift of love, that YOU would loose the gift of faith, that YOU would bring into their hearts salvation, that they would KNOW without a shadow of a doubt that they know the Saviour that LOVES them, this night, HAS paid in full for a special day. And we know that this day is not an accident, that YOU appointed this day to be, to come forth in the Name of Jesus, that YOU have done everything for us, for every moment right now, that YOUR WILL will be done, YOUR WILL will be accomplished by the Spirit of God.
I believe that there is NOTHING that we do that is not without God’s approval. HE allows us sometimes to be tested. HE allows us to view situations. HE causes us to go through times that we might just call upon HIS Name.
I might not [have] met Jesus, but at nine years old fell off into a hole in Stonycreek, where it goes into the Sacramento River. And I was on my way out to ETERNITY. And I remember as I lifted my hands that I was drowning. I was a little bitty boy. And I was a skinny little ol’ kid. And I was done for. I knew I was done for. But God sent another boy, and he saved me. His name was Leonard B_____. But God had him pull me up, and Jesus has done that same thing for us. HE has SAVED us many times from the powers of the enemy that would have had us put DOWN!
And that is the POWER of God that is here to minister HIS love here tonight. HE is a BLESSING! God is glorious! HE is forever faithful! HE will not fail you! HE will DELIVER you! HE will keep HIS word with you! HE is precious! God has NEVER done one thing that was even angry toward me. As a matter of fact HE has been very gracious to me. HE ought to have been more rougher to me, because of the things that I treated God [to]. But God is glorious here tonight.
The enemy comes to hassle you, out there. As long as you allow it he will hassle you until the time that you go to glory. And to me that is “no deal!” And that is no lie. That is the truth. The enemy comes to kill, destroy and to steal. [See John 10:10]
But God said, “I am come to give you life. And I have come to give you more abundant life.” [Again see John 10:10] And while HE is at it HE gives you JOY! HE gives you peace! HE makes you HAPPY! HE gives you the presence of HIS Spirit upon you, for HIS joy is forevermore. [See Psalm 16:11] HE is forever FAITHFUL! [1st Corinthians 1:9] HE makes HIMSELF REAL to your heart.
You know a lot of times I try not to say much. But when the Spirit of God is on me I allow MY GOD to speak through me. And God is here speaking to you this night by HIS Spirit. HE says:
“MY child, if ye will come unto ME I will PROMISE YOU, MY child, that I will take care of you. Thou must put your trust in ME, saith the Spirit of God. And if thou shall do it I shall save you! And I will HELP you, saith the Spirit of God.”
That was an invitation by God through the Spirit.
HE is here to HELP you. HE is here to BLESS you! HE is here as a FATHER. Oh hallelujah! You know how a father loves his kids. A father loves his kids! You know, children have problems, but we love them! There’s nothing that they can do that we don’t LOVE them! WE pay their bills. We do things for them that we don’t even like to do. But we do it because we LOVE them. And that is the way MY FATHER is, OH beyond measure! I’m an earthly father, but HE is a HEAVENLY Father! And all things is in HIS control!
There is nothing made that HE did not make. [See Colossians 1:16] HE is EVERYTHING, forever faithful! It says, “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. “ [Psalms 121:1] You think this old man up here is sort of pipe-dreaming? I will guarantee you it isn’t any “pipe dream.” God has brought me through the waters of hard times, brought me through Korea. I walked through a mine field. And I told God that if he would get me through this mine field, “I will serve you!”
And I believe that God wants us to keep our word; that when we say, “Lord I want to serve you,” [we do serve HIM]. And I came back DETERMINED to serve with all my heart, with all my soul, because HE paid IN FULL. HE lengthened my days! Hallelujah!
In [God’s Word] it says, if you live for God HE will give you more days! Isn’t that special? I was reading the other day that HE will give us 70 years, and more. Hallelujah! Can you say “Hallelujah!” [The audience responds with a solid “Hallelujah.”] That means “glory to God!” Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Oh, Praise God! It is exciting serving Jesus! It is NOT dull! I’ll tell you I have so much fun.
I am running a 46A [Caterpillar Bull Dozer] down [South]. And I go down there. And I say, “Lord, YOU are so good! Glory!”
You know I used to, when I was young, I worked on them [dozers]. But I decided I was too old to work on them [repair them] any longer. But I was still going to run them, because I need the work.
You know, we need to keep our minds occupied. This [the body] is a vessel of the Holy Ghost. This right here may not be much. But it is all we got to offer God back. So the way we treat this is how God sees us.
Now listen! When we get out here and go to wrong places and do the wrong doings we are marking a mark toward God saying “God I don’t believe YOU!” That is what we are telling HIM.
But God wants us to observe HIM and HIS commandments. But HIS commandments are not grievous. But God wants to love us. God is our Father. And we can take on HIS divine nature. In Peter it says we can take on the nature of our Father. [2nd Peter 1:4] Praise God, what a deed! “If God be for us, who can be against us?” [Romans 8:31b]
You know I thought about Noah, how that Noah was a just man. And how Noah lived in a time. And Noah preached for God. I don’t know, Brother Jack, if I could do that or not. He preached 120 years! And at that time there was no converts! You know, NO TAKERS. No one said, “I want to give my life to the Lord.” There was NOBODY!
And God also told him, “I want you to go out here and make a huge, big boat.” And Noah says, “Why?” The Lord says, “I just want you to build this ship. I want you to make a ship.” “What do you need a ship for, there no water?” God said, “There WILL be water!”
God said, “But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” [Matthew 24:37] There was wickedness upon that Earth! And there was wicked men. And God said, because of the wickedness HE was going to have to destroy mankind. That is those who HE created.
Do you hear me, what I am saying? HE had to destroy that which HE made. And it was displeasing to God, very displeasing. God didn’t want to do that. God wants to keep us. HE wants to BLESS us. HE wants to anoint us. He wants to use us as {and he turns to Art who plays the trumpet} a trumpet player.
God wants the GLORY to come through your lives. What a BLESSED hope! The glorious appearance of Jesus Christ, alive and real. God is forever faithful, and Noah preached at that time and built this huge ship. We know it as the Ark. It never rained [before that] on Earth! I guess they had sort of like a rain cloud that was over them in those days, before the flood.
And God come and took Noah and six others and his wife who were righteous. And I believe that they [his family] were more righteous because of Noah’s love toward God. I really believe that! God seen the righteousness of Noah and kept HIS word.
And here today, if you have children, I believe that if you will stay on your knees before God, that God will even save your household. HE will keep those. God promised to keep HIS covenant with HIS people! And God is real! God cares that much about US!! Hallelujah!
God took Noah and his family. Put them in HIS Ark. Then HE sent two of every kind of animal. Listen, you might know the story as well or better than I do. My mother used to teach me this when I was young. And I thought it was the greatest story! It was good! But it shows something, that this was God’s way of telling us that HE wants a people that love HIM.
God closed the door [on the Ark]. And at the end of that closure they put the animals, all the beasts, all crawling things, everything in that Ark with Noah. And it started raining. For 40 days and 40 nights it rained. It rained. It rained! I rained. It rained and rained and rained.
And the people, they cried out. They did! “Save us! Save us!”
You know, and I thought about that, how it must have felt on Noah’s ears hearing them. He probably knew them! He was on every corner. He faced them through the week. “Oh, Noah says it is going to rain. No! We don’t believe it is going to rain!! We just don’t believe that false stuff! We don’t believe that what you are telling us. We don’t believe in those kind of things! That’s a phony. You know you are sort of radical! You are sort of religious.” Have you ever heard these things?? “You are sort of weak minded!”
And Noah said, “No it IS going to come to pass!”
And I am here to declare that as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be when the Son of Man [Jesus] cometh. It says THAT in Matthew. It says it in Luke. It says it in quite a few passages [of the Bible]. It says that [in Noah’s day] they were giving in marriage. There is wickedness.
And here today, I declare to you that there IS wickedness in our Land! It is coming in like a flood. The Bible tells me “When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.” [Isaiah 59:19]
I like to say it [where the word “flood” is connected to the Lord]. “…LIKE A FLOOD” the LORD will raise up a standard against him. I like to say it that way better. God will raise up a standard against it. God be GREATER! “…greater is HE that is in you, than he that is in the world.” [1 John 4:4b] God has given reinforcements to HIS people, for those that believe on HIS Name, those that will call upon HIM. HE is very careful to help us, to strengthen us, to those that will BELIEVE. And God has given us time.
Jesus came to this Earth. It says, “He came unto HIS own, and HIS own received HIM not. But as many as received HIM, to them gave HE power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on HIS name” [John 1:11-12] If we give our hearts to Jesus Christ, HE will give you strength to receive, and thou shall be saved.
Here tonight if you do not know HIM, you CAN know HIM. You can ask HIM into your heart. HE will make a covenant with you. That HE will keep that to the time that you exodus through this World. The Bible says that “For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to ME, and every tongue shall confess to God” [Romans 14:11] that Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God. Every knee will bow.
One day we will all stand before God. And God says, “You didn’t take MY Son Jesus.”
The Bible says, “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” [John 3:36] There becomes a responsibility on us here tonight, that we must believe that the things that we do are very important in this life.
There is a time that we spend in prayer. You say, “Well, that is a foolish time!” But for Christians it is a SPECIAL time! Because when you call upon God, God is going to hear and answer you, and show you “…great and mighty things which thou knowest not.” [Jeremiah 33:3]
There is problems in this World. The Bible says, “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of HIS might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” [Ephesians 6:10-13]
We have power and authority in the Name of Jesus. And I am here to re-instate it. The enemy will hassle you! He will put you down! He will come into your mind. He will deceive you. He will do every despicable thing, and try to kill you if possible. He will try and take your life!
But there is a way that is better than that: that is coming to the love of God. That “…God so loved the world, that HE gave HIS only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in HIM should not perish, but have everlasting life.” [John 3:16] God has given us that access into this Heavenly Kingdom. And that road is open toward Heaven, Highway 35. It is in Isaiah 35. There is a Highway of Holiness, that here tonight if you want on that Highway you can take it! Jesus is asking. And you can have a privilege to know HIM.
You say, “Well, this doesn’t really mean anything to me.” The problem is it may not mean anything to you today. It may not mean anything to you tomorrow. But there will be a day that you will remember this day! I am saying it with love.
The Bible says, we will remember those times if we come against God. And God is here with HIS hand out-stretched to you here tonight. God is here with a tender call.
“I love you MY people. I LOVE YOU! Come unto ME all ye that are weary and heavy laden. And I will give you rest. Take MY yoke upon you. Learn of ME. For I AM meek and lowly, and ye shall find rest in your souls.”
Jeremiah 33:3 says, “Call unto ME, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” [Jeremiah 33:3] Ephesians three and twenty, “Now unto HIM that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,” [Ephesians 3:20] God has given us POWER in your hands. But you have to declare it in your mind saying, “I WANT THAT!” You can turn it off, or you can receive.
If I was here and I had a thousand dollar bill and could give it to you, if you came up. If you didn’t come up you wouldn’t receive. That is the same with God! God has HIS hands open.
Have you ever seen that picture of Jesus where you see HIM knocking on the heart’s door? We have to open our heart up to Jesus. HE won’t force us. God is so wonderful that HE will not force you. HE will not force you to do anything that you don’t want to do. But there comes a time in your life, if you live long enough, when you will say, “Lord, I need you.”
And the Bible says we cannot be drawn unless the Father draws us by the Spirit. It is in John 6:44. The Spirit of God is here tonight drawing us, wooing you, loving you.
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice,…” God is saying, “a living sacrifice holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.” [Romans 12:1] “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” [Romans 12:2]
God has a perfect plan for you. God has a layout for you that no other one has! And you are special in the eyes of God. There is not one that can take your place, no not one. There is no one that can take what you have in God’s sight. God has a reservation for each one of you. And in that day you turn that reservation away God has said, “I wanted that one, but that one REFUSED ME! That one REFUSED MY hand!” And God has granted HIS love. God has granted us HIS peace. God has given us a joy.
The Apostle Paul said, “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” [Romans 8:38-39]
There is JOY in serving God! There IS joy in serving God! There is peace. “…the joy of the LORD is [my] strength.” [Nehemiah 8:10b] The Bible says, and I will guarantee you it IS [true]! When I go home I don’t have to fret.
The Bible says, “Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and VERILY thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the LORD: and HE SHALL GIVE THEE the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in HIM; and HE shall bring it to pass.” [Psalms 37:1-5] “…lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge HIM, and HE shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.” [Proverbs 3:5-7]
“Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.” [Psalms 19:14] “For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a MOMENT, …” But it says, “…While we look NOT at the things which are seen,…” [2nd Corinthians 4:16-17a]
This is by God’s power, let me explain it. I see a problem out here, and it’s BIG! I said, “Lord, I don’t know how to handle it, but I know that YOU can change [it].” And HE did it!! Two months ago I was in a big problem. But God somehow, miraculously made a marvelous change, because I was HIS son. And I know that I am HIS [adopted] son. But HE even blinded, I believe, some people, that they didn’t realize how old I was. It was something God can only do. God is glorious!! God is beyond imagination!
The Bible says, “But as it is written…” This here [holding up the Bible] was written for us! The Bible says, “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man,…” Hallelujah!! “…the things which God hath prepared for them that love HIM. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.” [1 Corinthians 2:9-10] If God be for you who can be against you?? [See Romans 8:31] “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through HIM that loved us.” [Romans 8:37] “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” [Romans 8:38-39] “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.” [Romans 12:1] “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” [Romans 12:2]
I would like to read something that the Bible says. You know God has prophecy through this Bible that shows us what is going to take place, what has taken place, and what God is going to allow. God is glorious! Glory to God! Hallelujah!
The Bible says, “…in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of HIS coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.” It says, “For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:…” This is talking about The Flood, how that God destroyed Earth at that time. “Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:…” It is telling us that it REALLY happened. “But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved…” See the Bible says this World is kept in store by the Word of God! If God says it don’t go, [then] it don’t go! Listen, this is really quite a passage. “But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.” [2 Peter 3:3-7]
See, if you are a Christian there is no [fiery] judgment for you. God saved you. You are going to miss all this junk, this carnage. You are going to miss all the problems. But you can say, “I’m a hard head. I’ll go alone!” And God says, “Okay, if that is what he says, okay. You know you are going to miss it [the deliverance].” It is NOT God’s fault! “If God be for us, who can be against us?” [Romans 8:31b]
“But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.” [2nd Peter 3:8] One day is as a thousand years with the Lord and a thousand years as a day! That is hard for us to imagine, to understand. But the Bible says, “For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him.” [2 Chronicles 16:9a] How does that grab you, that God sees all things at all times??
You see Satan cannot do that! Satan is NOT omnipotent [nor omnipresent]. I want to tell you tonight that he is NOT omnipotent! God is omnipotent! It is HIM [God] that you need! Satan can only go so far with you. He will hassle you, but praise God “…greater is HE that is in you, than he that is in the world.” [1 John 4:4b] You [the Christian] have power of God upon your side. And God wants you to prove it as being able to come [against evil powers.]
The Bible says, “Draw nigh [near] to God, and HE will draw nigh to you.” [James 4:8a] “Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” [James 4:7b] The Bible says, “…and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.” [1 Peter 5:5b] “Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that HE may exalt you in due time:” [1 Peter 5:6] “Casting all your care upon HIM;…” “Casting all your care upon him!!!” “Casting all your care upon HIM; for HE careth for you.” [1 Peter 5:7] “Be SOBER, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist STEADFAST in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.” [1 Peter 5:8-9]
That to me sounds like there is POWER in GOD!! Glory to God! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
“But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night;…” This is a prophecy that SHALL come to pass!! And I believe it is VERY close to that Day! I BELIEVE this! “…in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.” [2nd Peter 3:10] That is THIS Earth, what we are living on right here! It is PREDICTED that THIS shall come to pass! It was predicted what Noah told those people would come to pass. They LAUGHED at him! No one took [what he said]. They rejected what he said! THEY REJECTED NOAH! But they didn’t reject Noah! Noah was just like I am. He was only a messenger. But they rejected GOD!
And God is here tonight to make covenant with HIS people, to re-establish us, to forgive us, to give us a new path, a new walk, a new talk, a new heart, a new joy, a new love, a new MISSION! Hallelujah! “If God be for us, who can be against us?” [Romans 8:31b] “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons…” IT IS ASKING A QUESTION HERE TODAY! “Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,…” [2nd Peter 3:11]
Now that is IMPOSSIBLE for us to do (holy conversation and godliness), without the love of God! I’ll guarantee you can’t live a day without cussing. You can’t live a day without swearing. You can’t live a day without having desirous problems that are beyond your capacity. There are things that will set you down, that will bring your mind down. But I will tell you what! When Jesus comes into your heart and gives you that new mind and you dont’ WANT that old dirty stuff! You want to love your GOD! And it brings a relief off your body. This body is no longer under pressure of the World.
In the Bible it says it puts us under the covenant of Jesus Christ and we have LIBERTY, God’s liberty upon your life. And the wholesomeness of God forever and ever! It says, “I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.” [Psalms 23:6b] “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Hallelujah! Glory! [The congregation is so excited they join in praising and clapping for Jesus.] Even if you were all against me I am going to lift up GOD! I’m for GOD!! Hallelujah! Jesus Christ the righteous ONE, the one that came to HIS own.
I’m going to finish this before I close. “Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.” [2nd Peter 3:12-13]
It’s the opposite! See I’m looking for something better. And people will lecture. And I believe that we are very close to the coming of our Lord. I don’t know all the answers. But I do know that if I miss the coming of the Lord that I am in trouble, that I am in trouble. If something causes me to miss that glorious Day that I am in trouble because I am going to have to go through those plagues. I am going to have to go through those problems. If this World has a fire I am going to be in that fire, whatever takes place. But God is going to redeem the church. HE is going to take us out. And HE is here. It is the Word of God. I can give you the Word. HE will KEEP HIS WORD for those that will call upon HIM!
