Message at the Rescue Mission

God is good, an ever present help in the time of need. “…and HE knoweth them that trust in HIM.” [Nahum 1:7b] God is for real! Tonight I want to say God is real!
You know the Bible even says that some of the things we see pass away. But God never passes away. HE is going to be here when it is all over with. HE is still going to be here. HE is going to be here in HIS glory! And I praise God for HIS goodness, for HIS blessings.
Father God in the Name of Jesus we praise YOU this day. We thank YOU for thy blessings. We thank YOU for thy guidance, for thy all seeing eye that watches over us and keeps us in the mighty hallow of thy mighty hand. And Father we thank YOU for that sustaining power that is able to strengthen us this day, when we are weary, when we are walking through times of weariness, fatigued in ourselves. Lord God YOU grant us strength. YOU grant us help Lord God. And Father God YOU are so faithful. YOU are so faithful! YOU are so glorious! And everything consists and everything is made by YOU. We praise YOU this day, as YOU are the governor of everything. And everything that is made was made by YOU. We praise YOU this day for thy goodness. Lord we thank YOU for the very air that we are breathing right now. We thank YOU for the sunshine, oh for this food in this day, all the things the blessings YOU have bestowed upon us. And Father God we thank you for the gift of thy Son Jesus. Lord we thank YOU that you was willing to send YOUR only Son to Calvary’s Cross, that cruel cross, that HE would pay for my sins. HE would pay for each one of us that had sinned in this World. And oh Lord that YOU made a way that we can come boldly unto the Throne of Grace, that we might attain mercy this day, to stand and having done all to stand. Father we praise YOU for thy goodness! We thank YOU Lord for that salvation that is so rich and so free, so special Lord God. And Father we thank YOU Lord for those this night that need that special touch. We pray for those this night. We pray for the majestic power of the Spirit of God to be here in a real way, in a glorious way, in a miraculous way. Father we claim healing touches for the mind, Father, for the body, Father God [for] the whole man, the whole woman here this night. We claim victory this night in the wonderful name of Jesus. Amen
You know we have a wonderful engagement that is going to take place one of these days. We don’t know exactly [when], but Jesus said when HE was here that there is going to be a day when HE is going to come back through the clouds of glory. Jesus already said this. And HE says, “I’m going to come back for those who would accept ME as their Lord and Saviour. To those that will believe in ME, I AM going to come back one of these days, and I AM also going to build them a mansion while I AM away.” [See John Chapter 14]
It says, “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go…” That’s Jesus speaking. “…to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” [John 14:1-3]
Now it has been 2,000 years, almost, to the time that Jesus walked this Earth. And in 2,000 years Jesus has really done something WONDERFUL, because the Bible says, “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.” [1st Corinthians 2:9-10]
God is GLORIOUS!! And God wants to bless us. HE wants to bless us more than we want to be blessed ourselves! God CARES for us! You many times will say, “Well I don’t care.” BUT GOD CARES, even when they are in that different kind of a situation. And they are sort of indifferent at that time. They don’t want to [respond].
But God still has HIS arms open. HE created us in HIS image, in HIS likeness. You just think about it: God created us IN HIS IMAGE, in HIS likeness. HE called us and give us a space of time, while we live upon Earth, where we can choose, refuse, neglect whatever HE gives us, that free reign. God doesn’t force us. But God loves us!
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” [John 3:16] God gives a guarantee that if we will call upon HIM and HE will be near. The Bible says, “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,” [Ephesians 3:20]
God has given mankind a power. And that power comes through the mind that God gave you. The Bible says, “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus…” [Philippians 2:5] This mind is something that God created. It wasn’t just given to us. God gave us a mind! HE gave us a heart. HE gave us a likeness of HIMSELF, and the way we treat this body is where we are going to stand accountable to God one day.
The Bible says, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.” [John 14:12-13]
God has given us strength. HE has given us a strength that we have never felt before. And I believe in this last day, last hours there is WRONG doing that is coming into our Land. There is lawlessness. There is evil on every hand. And God will give us strength, brothers and sisters here tonight, to cope with what we face. HE will give us a charisma from God that is able. “…we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.” [Romans 8:37] “…we are MORE than conquerors!” You can be more than conqueror! But, we have to put our trust in God!
But the part that I would like to bring out tonight is “OUR TRUST IN GOD.” Where is our trust in God? Do we REALLY believe HIM? Here tonight I can say all my life I have really walked with the Lord. And I can put my TRUST in God! It is easy for me because I have done it a long time. But, we can grow into that trust relationship, that you know whatever is going to come your way, whatever is going to cross your path, that GOD is going to be WITH you through that situation!
You might say, “It’s a hard road for me!” But, God will be WITH you through those times of crisis, through the times of hardship. You know, how will we make it by ourself! It is IMPOSSIBLE! But when we face those obstacles and have God with us it is POWERFUL!
God is with us! HE said HE would never forsake us. [See Hebrews 13:5] There is nothing that we go through that God is not able to enable us, to help us. The Bible says, “When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.” [Isaiah 59:19]
The enemy is the Devil, which is a part of this universe. But he only has so much power. God has given the Christian power that we can resist him [the devil]. The Bible says, “Draw nigh to God, and HE will draw nigh to you.” [James 4:8a] “Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” [James 4:7b] That means when you know he is coming your way, you are able to resist him in the wonderful name of Jesus. That gives you a confidence in God that we need.
Instead of saying, “I can’t win! I can’t do it!” God will enable us, to help us, that we might be victorious through the things that come our way. When there is problems that come our way, there is sickness many times. We feel sick in body. But the enemy comes many times to even put pain to our body, to come against us. But GOD has the antidote, you might say! HE has strength that comes against what we come against! HE is there to help us. And there is no other force in this World that can say that for you. There is no other ONE! And I am not saying a denomination or in man or a living one. But it is in GOD!! In GOD we TRUST!
“…greater is HE that is in you, than he that is in the world.” [1st John 4:4b] “Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” [John 14:27b] “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” [2nd Timothy 1:7] “…greater is HE that is in you, than he that is in the world.” [1 John 4:4b] The Bible says, “Casting all your care upon HIM; for HE careth for you.” [1st Peter 5:7] “…be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:” [James 1:19]
God has given us STRENGTH through HIS Word! “…greater is HE that is in you, than he that is in the world.” [1st John 4:4b] The Bible says, “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” [Romans 8:38-39] That is what I have been talking about, or what God has been speaking to me. There is nothing! Paul said nothing could move him! [See Acts 20:24] And what he was talking about was “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life nor…” [Romans 8:38a] any of these other things shall be able to MOVE me!
“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide UNDER the shadow of the Almighty.” [Psalm 91:1] That if you put your trust in the living God it says, “I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in HIM will I trust.” [Psalm 91:2] “HE shall cover thee with his FEATHERS…” [Psalm 91:4a]
Praise God! What greater covering, greater counsel, greater direction, and the JOY of the Lord is your strength? And I am here tonight to declare that God’s joy is REAL! Oh, there has never been a HIGH like the Spirit of God! The Word says, “…be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;” [Ephesians 5:18] Be drunk with the Spirit! The Spirit of the Lord brings a freshness to you. It is a REFRESHING to you! It brings a wholesomeness, that God realizes this body is a temporal piece: it is made of dust. It came out of clay, and we do rely so many times on our FEELINGS.
The Bible says, “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)…” We are to pull down strong holds! “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing…” [2nd Corinthians 10:3-5a] You know, we get this in our mind: “He don’t like me. She don’t like me.” We get these things in our imaginations, in our head. We MUST RESIST those wicked imaginations!! “Casting all your care upon HIM; for HE careth for you.” [1st Peter 5:7]
The Bible says, “Fret not thyself because of evildoers,…” [Psalms 37:1a] Sometimes we want to sort of say, “Well, you know, that guy, he deserves it!” But the Bible says, “Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. TRUST IN THE LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. DELIGHT THYSELF also in the LORD:…” [Psalms 37:1-4a] DELIGHT yourself in the Lord. You know our work with the Lord has to mean business!
When I was in Korea I never knew whether I was going to make it back to the States. But I have never forgotten when I came under the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco and how it made me feel. You know, I was almost home. But you know, one of these days this shall come to pass; this is a prophecy that WILL come to pass: “Every knee shall bow.” [See Isaiah 45:23]
We are all going to be almost home, very soon. We are going home. We are going home to something! You need to put stuff in your mind tonight. You must say, “I will accept the Lord Jesus Christ! I want to walk with God! I am not ASHAMED of the Gospel of Christ for it is the power of God unto Salvation, to the Jew first, also to all the World! [See Romans 1:16] God is calling us to walk with HIM and forsake the World. And to call upon HIM that HE might bless us, that HE might HELP us, that you might be a spokesman for GOD, that your light would just shine!
You know I believe the best message there is: the Bible says, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” [Matthew 5:16] Sometimes we speak too much and we turn people off. But if we just let our light shine. “This little light of mine, I’m going to let it shine. This little light of mine I’m going to let it shine.” [Lyrics from a gospel chorus]
You do more good for God [with the light]. People start coming to you and saying, “What do you got? You got something? I want to come! What do you got?”
Jesus is REAL! And HE is FAITHFUL! God is here to BLESS you [with] an inheritance that fadeth not away, reserved in Heaven for us. [See 1st Peter 1:4] Think about a reservation. You place a reservation. You know if you could go to any place in this World tonight and you was here and some millionaire would come out here and say, “I’m going to grant any one of you here a trip to some place, Timbuktu we’ll say. So you go to Timbuktu. But that trip is not satisfying. It is not LASTING! It decays.
The Bible says HE gives us “…an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,” [1st Peter 1:4] You can imagine. We need to get our mind upon God! We need to get our mind upon the things of God! We need to take OUR THINGS out [bad things out of our minds]. The Bible says, “..we look NOT at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” [2nd Corinthians 4:18] “For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a MOMENT, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” [2nd Corinthians 4:16-18]
God has said you can face the impossibility out here and through prayer you can change it totally around, through prayer. And that is what God wishes for us to do, that we might be STRONG in the Lord, that we might pray without ceasing [See 1st Thessalonians 5:17], that we call upon God, that we may take our place, where if we put our shoulders back [and say] “IN the Name of Jesus I am going to follow my God! All the way! All the way my Saviour leads me. I will follow, follow HIM all the way!”
And I believe that God wants us to come and find ourself in HIM, that we might be blessed of God. God has got something so special that if you miss out on this special engagement of God YOU’VE MISSED IT!! It is going to be terrible. The Bible says, it would have been better if we never had been born if you missed Heaven. [Matthew 16:26]
That is why I’m here tonight. I want to make sure you are going to be in Heaven. I want to make sure that I’m going to be there! I want to make sure that these brothers that are here are there. We must be encouragers here. We must encourage ourselves!
The Bible says, “I will lift up mine eyes unto the HILLS, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD,…” [Psalms 121:1-2a] Hallelujah!!! Hallelujah!! Glory! “I will lift up mine eyes unto the HILLS!!” I will keep my eye toward Heaven! I WILL seek HIM!
The Bible says that if we will seek HIM we will surely find HIM. [See Deuteronomy 4:29] “Seek ye the LORD while HE may be found, call ye upon HIM while HE is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and HE will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for HE will abundantly pardon. For MY thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways MY ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are MY ways higher than your ways, and MY thoughts than your thoughts.” [Isaiah 55:6-9]
Even though God is way up here HE comes down to our level, that HE might touch us, support us, cradle us in HIS love. HE cradles us as a little child. HE loves us. And HE supports us. HE is a BLESSING!! “The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and HE addeth no sorrow with it.” [Proverbs 10:22] “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on THEE: because he trusteth in THEE.” [Isaiah 26:3]
Do we trust in GOD???? Or, are we trusting the things of the World???? “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but MY WORDS shall not pass away.” [Matthew 24:35; Mark 13:31; Luke 21:33] “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.” [1st John 2:15] “The Lord is not slack concerning HIS promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that ALL should come to repentance.” [2nd Peter 3:9]
I want to encourage you here tonight, that GOD is REAL! HE IS FAITHFUL!!! HE IS REAL!!
I made a covenant with God when I left Korea that “I will live for YOU the rest of my life.” And GOD kept HIS part of it! And I’m trying to keep my part of it. Our God is REAL! God lengthened my days out and gave me an added number of DAYS! But I mean it! We must think upon the things of God!
[As Brother Freedom finished the above paragraph a demonized young woman was so effected by the strong presence of God where she sat in the front row that she began to gag and cough. She had to arise and move from the front row, back several rows. The wrong spirits in her life were tormented by the presence of God in the room.]
The Bible says, “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” [Philippians 4:8]
The Bible says, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” [2nd Timothy 2:15] How many here are Bible scholars??? YOU NEED TO READ THE BIBLE!! IT IS GLORIOUS!! IT IS THE WORD! IT IS POWER! IT WILL DEFEND YOU! IT WILL STRENGTHEN YOUR HEART! YOU CAN FIGHT THE ENEMY OFF BY THE WORD!
“THY word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against THEE.” [Psalm 119:11] “…greater is HE that is in you, than he that is in the world.” [1st John 4:4b] “Now unto HIM that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you FAULTLESS before the presence of HIS glory with exceeding JOY…” [Jude 1:24] Take that one!! That is a GOOD Scripture! Glory!
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.” [Romans 12:1] “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye TRANSFORMED by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” [Romans 12:2] “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” [Philippians 4:13] “But my God shall supply all your need according to HIS riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” [Philippians 4:19]
But these [Scriptures] only work as we stay in God’s track-way that God allows us to live. If we go out over here and we abuse God, we abuse our privileges we face problems! But if you live for God half way where God has you, God will forgive you. HE will bless you. They asked Jesus how many times should you forgive. He said, “…seventy times seven,” [Matthew 18:22] to forgive one another! God is beyond that!!! You figure that out it is 490 times a day that you could be forgiven [by your brother], and God is BEYOND that!!! God is beyond numbers! God is glorious!
HE is here to touch you, to refresh you, to inspire you this night. To God be the glory. “My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have AN ADVOCATE with the Father,…” “An advocate” is like a lawyer. “…we have AN ADVOCATE with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And HE is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.” [1st John 2:1-2] We have a LAWYER in our corner, Brother Clint!! We have a LAWYER there! I have a lawyer that is defending my case! We have a LAWYER there that is defending our part. We have a LAWYER that loves you! This ONE is JESUS “…the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.” God is REAL!! HIS Majesty is glorious!
“For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly,…” WE GROW IN THESE AREAS! It don’t come over night! “…denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly,…” That means THINKING what you are doing! “…righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave HIMSELF for us, that HE might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto HIMSELF a peculiar people, zealous of good works.” [Titus 2:11-14]
And I don’t mind someone saying, “[Brother Freedom], you got peculiar!! I don’t mind because I want God to single me out! I want to say, “Lord, I want to serve YOU with all my heart, because YOU never FAIL!! You are REAL!!” It’s better than any hamburger! It is better than anything you can eat! It [the Word] is food of God. It is glorious!
“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” [1st Corinthians 2:9] The Bible says, “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” [Matthew 6:19-21]
So that is what we need. God sees your heart. And God is here tonight to help us. You know there is not any of us that can say that we can never fail God, because we have all failed God. God never fails us. But, we have failed. And God puts our sins in the sea of forgetfulness, never to be remembered no more.
What a wonderful God that would remember our sins no more, that is able to take our sins that we have sinned against HIM, and we have sinned against others, we have sinned against ourselves; and HE puts them where HE can’t even remember where they are! HE don’t remember it, no more!! HE isn’t one to keep grudges.
You know we forgive people and say, “Boy I remember, Brother Clint, when you did that, when I did that.” That’s the way we forgive. God isn’t that way. When HE forgives IT IS FORGIVEN! Isn’t that wonderful that GOD is that glorious, that HE cares that much for you. HIS eye is on the sparrow, and so HE watches over us.
You know the Bible says how HE feeds the birds of the field. HE takes care of them and they don’t have to spin [yarn]. They don’t have to plant. They don’t have to labor. But God takes care of them because there is NOTHING that God won’t take care of! “HIS eye is on the sparrow and I know he watches me.” [From an old spiritual].
HIS Name is Wonderful. HIS Name, JESUS, is WONDERFUL! HE is glorious. HE brings victory! HE brings healing! HE brings atonement! HE brings grace forevermore!
Glory to God! “Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless HIS holy name…” “…Bless HIS holy name!” “Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:…” [Psalm 103:1-2] Here tonight I want one thing, let’s just don’t forget GOD! Let’s just don’t put HIM up in the back shelf, like we do many times. I am ashamed that as people we do this. We’ll say, “Well, you know, I haven’t even thought about the Lord for two weeks. Well, I guess HE’s alright. Well, I mean I guess everything is alright. But I’m having a tough time. I’ve had terrible days!”
Yeah, you know, if you read the Lord out of your life you are going to have hard trials! And I believe that if you walk with God there is a strength that comes in God, the precious gift of God upon those that love HIM.
It says, “For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro…” This is another Scripture. “For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew HIMSELF strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward HIM.” [2nd Chronicles 16:9a] Arn’t you excited about something like that? The eyes of the Lord are running to and fro throughout the whole Earth to show HIMSELF STRONG on behalf of whose hearts is made perfect toward HIM.
God blesses you because you have made your heart right with HIM. You know, there is no guarantee in this life. I’ve taken jobs and had jobs and some little thing has happened and the boss says, “Well, it’s over with!” Things of this World are so changeable. It can change. You can have a job one day and the next day you haven’t got a job. You can have money in the bank one day and the next day you are bankrupt. This is the way this World operates! We struggle through life because of this, but God is that part that NEVER operates in that condition! We can call upon HIM when we are in the poorest condition. Or, we can call upon HIM when we are in the wealthiest condition. HE sees our heart, and HE wants to make HIMSELF KNOWN to those that will seek HIS face, those that mean business with God. HE will BLESS you. And I guarantee HE is going to bless you. HE is going to do great and mighty things.
You know, the other afternoon God spoke to my heart. HE says, “Better move your pickup [truck], MY son.” And I’m running a D8 [Caterpillar bull dozer] with a ripper on the back. And I was around these piles of gravel. They said that if I got through, wherever I was at, to start moving those piles. And it was so hot. And I lost [track] of where my pickup was at, because I was so busy. And the Spirit of God said, “STOP!” I stopped. It was a miracle, even though I DID hit my pickup. I hit the canopy top; went into it about an inch. And one half inch more and I would have taken the whole vehicle. And if GOD hadn’t said “STOP,” I would have gone right over the top of [my pickup].
You know, that is the way our human faculties are not like God’s. It brought a real teaching to my heart. When God speaks HE wants us to reply to HIM. Don’t procrastinate. Do you know what “procrastinate” is? It’s putting off to tomorrow what you should have done a week or two before. That is what we do. We procrastinate about our salvation! We procrastinate about reading the Bible. We procrastinate about seeking God! And God wants us to “…come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” [Hebrews 4:16] And “…having done all, to stand.” [Ephesians 6:13]
God wants us to come with boldness into HIS presence. “…seek HIS face evermore.” [Psalm 105:4] Glory to God! God is here in a real and a very special way. I sense HIS presence here tonight! And I sense that there is needs here tonight. And I don’t know what all the needs is, but God knows! And I believe there is some here tonight that you have had some things that have come your way, by the Spirit of God, that God wants to HELP you this night. God wants to move upon you as only HE can. And God is in the REAL business! HE is available at all times. It says, HE does not “…slumber nor sleep.” [Psalm 121:4]
You know HE allows us to sleep. We do sleep in the night time, many times. “…HE giveth HIS beloved sleep.” [Psalm 127:2] Also that is another plus from God. God gives “…HIS beloved sleep.” You know, you can get so tangled up. This mind can get so cluttered, clogged up because of immorality, bad things that your mind has a problem. But we need to be CLEANSED by the power of God. And when that cleansing power comes through your mind, “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus…” [Philippians 2:5] There comes a REST! And even your body functions better!
I guarantee you, when you are right with God your blood pressure goes down. And I will guarantee you, they have proven it, some of these bad diseases are caused because people have gotten out of kilter with God!
If there is anyone here tonight and you have a “root of bitterness” [See Hebrews 12:15]. That means you are bitter because of someone else. You need to forgive that person, or whatever it takes, because you need to get rid of that bitterness. It will take you down to a Devil’s Hell!! It will take your life, early in your life. And it will leave you there maimed. And you will get so hard within yourself that you cannot trust nobody. It has a way of conqueroring you!
This BITTERNESS, it can conqueror you!! And God don’t want you to be conquered here tonight. God wants to BLESS you! HE wants to touch you! HE wants to fill you! HE wants to excite you, in the Name of Jesus! HE WANTS to set you FREE! Hallelujah! God is here to deliver you, to BLESS you, to strengthen you this night, that you will have a peace, the compassion of God upon you.
I never plan nothing. But God has spoken here this night that HE LOVES you! And if there is anyone that goes away not touched, it is NOT God’s fault! God is here to strengthen you. And I will stay here [after the message] as long as it needs to be, if anyone needs prayer.
I believe that God can touch you right where you are. As a man believeth in his heart so is he! [See Matthew 8:13] That means when you believe right things become right! When you believe wrong all things fall apart! This old body falls apart. Your decisions fall apart. You can’t make nothing right. You can’t make the right decisions. You try to drive and you make incorrect driving habits, because your heart is wrong. It relates in a place. When you become at ease things just automatically take place in themselves. THEY DO!! And what I’m saying is right from God!
God wants to bring forth a victory here tonight. HE wants to climax it in the wonderful Name of Jesus. If you don’t know Jesus here tonight, God wants to bless you. God wants to forgive you. And there is some here tonight that God is dealing with. HE wants to bring you a new man, a new heart, a new direction!
I made a commitment to God. Brother Clint will tell you. I have been coming here a year [to speak]. But I made a new commitment to God December 18, 2002, that I wanted to get deeper even than I’ve ever been before. I mean it here tonight. There is no TIME to allow the enemy to get anything. All I want is GOD!! If I stay on the safe side I know where I’m going. If I have a little bit of a slip, I don’t know [where I’m going]. I might wake up and be going the wrong way.
God wants to bring judgment in the House of God. “For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?” [1st Peter 4:17] God is here not with HIS hand against you here tonight, but HE is beckoning you here, real lovingly. HE LOVES you!
Everyone in this room, GOD LOVES YOU!! HE wants to bless you!
