America Has Chosen To Go Against God

Before the actual service begins Brother Freedom speaks about the recent terrible string of tornadoes that killed almost 40 people in several states. The National Weather Service later reported that this flock of tornadoes was one of the worst for the month of March in recorded weather history.
Brother Freedom is shocked at how the landscape looks like it has been bombed. He speaks about how God was merciful in that the level of destruction was far greater than the level of injury and death. Many more could have died, but God spared lives. These disasters are going to break the American economy he predicts. He predicts that disasters and upheaval are going to get worse and worse until America wakes up. Brother Freedom understands that God speaks on the weather channel to a secular nation. God is trying to get America to wake up before it is too late. But this nation is so scientific that it cannot and will not be open to anything that does not fit into the primitive science of men.
The service begins with Bible reading and prayer. Brother Freedom prays for those who are suffering because of the tragedies of the many tornadoes.
We who live in the United States have been fortunate to grow up in a free land. Our beginnings were of a group of people, the Pilgrims, who were seeking to have a place where they could freely worship God. It started out “In God We Trust.” God came upon this Country, year after year. God’s hand was in the movement of the settlers coming across the wide expanse of the land. The formations in the geology of the land are unique. There are earthquake faults and volcanoes. We have been given much. There are resources and there are dangers all built into the geology of the land itself.
God blessed us with many inventions and for years we exported those things to the world. R.G. LeTourneau, a Christian inventor of heavy equipment was used much to advance the development of heavy earth moving machines. He put his full trust in Jesus and God blessed him. This Nation (The United States of America) was founded upon God! But, something has happened since that founding, in the last few years. It started even back when Brother Freedom was a little boy. He started seeing in the 1940s and 1950s that the churches moved from a close walk with God to a cooler walk, a more distant walk away from God. Those believers didn’t know that there was a way to keep a close walk with God. They didn’t know much about continuously living in God’s presence with fullness of joy. They were ignorant of some of the deep truths. Satan worked to block any movement toward a deeper life in God.
By the 1960s Brother Freedom heard the churches talking about the “God is Dead” movement. The churches didn’t really know how to counteract such things because the churches had grown cold themselves.
[Brother Freedom teaches that the United States has fallen because the visible churches fell away from God. It is the fault of Christians that this Nation is so fallen. It is because the church has lost the ability to touch Heaven because they have tried to touch Heaven in the natural realm without the aid of the Holy Ghost and the mighty infilling and guidance of the Holy Ghost. He does not go into all that deepth in this message…but that is what he teaches if you listen to all the sermons and words that God pours through Brother Freedom.]
God’s people, in the 1960s, were losing their first faith, their first direction. They were losing the memory of a time just prior in the 1950s where God poured out an evangelism and physical healing era in men like Oral Roberts. The Full Gospel Business Men’s movement had many miracles. Brother Freedom was very involved in a local chapter of Full Gospel Business Men. He saw lives and hearts changed, miracles. These mighty things were not by might nor power but by the wonderful Spirit of God. God was moving mightily, but the churches turned a blind eye to that.
Brother Freedom remembers when he was called to speak at a Full Gospel Business Men’s meeting in a certain town and there where several hundred people in attendance. God’s Holy Spirit moved so mightily that when Brother Freedom prayed for people, scores of them were overcome by the power of God and could no longer stand upright. Many were healed in body, mind and spirit. God was using a little nobody, Brother Freedom. God just doesn’t use big names. God likes to use little people.
When God spoke to Brother Freedom back then and told him that God was going to use little nobodies and that God was going to use Brother Freedom as a nobody, that was when Brother Freedom really began to pray and seek God even more. Freedom prayed for about eight years solid for more of God. God strongly called Brother Freedom after the eight year of prayer.
God has a work in man! God doesn’t want us to shrivel up and dry up! But that is what Christians have done. They have dried up in this Nation! At one time the visible church was a healthier fruit of God. But we have baked in the Sun and have shriveled up. We have lost our first love. We have lost the joy of the Lord. We are not responding to God at all! NO RESPONSE!
The churches today are actually formulating their own workshop. “You just come to our church and we will make it real easy on you, because we don’t want anyone to get hurt or offended.”
Brother Freedom remembers in Full Gospel Business Men that God moved so mightily. But after awhile the leadership started letting the door be opened to those who did not move by the Spirit of God, but they moved by the thinking of man. These new ones came in and brought in with them religious spirits not of God. Pretty soon these cold ones who had leadership capabilities took the organization over. And the original movement of Full Gospel Business Men fell apart and was closed in many cities.
We have to guard our doors all the time, and that takes a serious attempt to be spiritually on guard continuously. It is because Satan is around and about to kill, destroy and to steal. But God is here, on the other hand, to give us life and to give us more abundant life.
But America has chosen to go against God! They have said the Bible cannot be read in school. No prayer meetings in the White House, nothing like that. The things of God are now taboo. Godly things have been low key for the last 20 or 30 years, but at least there was a little form of some kind then.
We start out hot in God, but we need to stay hot in God or we become lukewarm. The Bible says that if we get lukewarm God is going to spew us out of HIS mouth. God doesn’t like lukewarm. But in our Nation spiritually we are not even lukewarm. We have become cold, frigid cold. When a Christian becomes frigid cold they become oppressed by a spirit of religion. Brother Freedom knows about this because God showed him about this terrible condition many years ago. When the spirit of religion takes over, your heart becomes cold. You have a form of religion, but you are not where you should be with God.
In the Scripture, read at the start of the service, it speaks of Babylon and God calling HIS people to come out of Babylon. It is speaking about God’s people getting away from coldness. God’s people need to come out and away from questionable things, things that God does not approve of. Even if every other person insists on clinging to a thing that God calls an abomination, you need to get away from that thing. Even if you are the only one in the entire world willing to do that, you need to get away from wrong things.
In the Old Testament story of Lot and his family in Sodom, Lot had to come out and away from that evil city. Lot’s wife longed for the excitement of that city. There was something about that evil city she loved. She looked back with longing and lost her life. The Bible talks about this:
“Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.” [2nd Corinthians 6:17-18]
“…what agreement hath the temple of God with idols?” There is no AGREEMENT! “…for ye are the temple of the living God…” [2nd Corinthians 6:16a] God made us a TEMPLE OF GOD that HE lives within us. We shine as a vessel of praise, that our antenna is going up all the time toward Heaven, if we are seeking God. But God has no agreement with Satan or with the powers of darkness. We need to flee evil things. Evil things don’t fit in God’s economy.
Brother Freedom prays for people, especially those whom he senses are believers, because Brother Freedom knows that it isn’t easy in this era to walk holy and pure for God. Prayer makes a big difference for Brother Freedom because Freedom has sought God and run away from all things of the enemy. Brother Freedom’s prayers get through to Heaven and your prayers can too, if you will flee away from all questionable things and seek God with all of your heart.
There is something in all people, even some evil people, that when they feel the touch of God’s hand, because someone prayed for them, they respond.
But when we backslide into lukewarmness we become very cold in our spirit. In that cold condition we don’t think properly. Our spiritually antenna is non-functional. Our discernment is zero. Our first love for God leaves us so easily. We have got to keep responding to the Lord God.
Going back to our Nation, God is seeing that there are a lot of people that do not want HIM. God has told Brother Freedom that God is going to stop talking to HIS people because God is speaking and no one can hear HIM. God speaks every day. When you are outside looking at the creation, God is speaking. God also told Brother Freedom that if you get in most churches God won’t hear you in those places because those places have been labeled by God as Ichabod. That word means that the Spirit of God has departed totally from those places. In other words there is more of God in the city park than in many churches.
Then Brother Freedom speaks prophetically. Ichabod is the next step for America. God has departed many churches, but God is about to totally depart from America because this Nation has turned on HIM and away from HIM. The prayers of the churches were responsible for the maintenance of the presence of God over the Nation. God’s anointed and Spirit-filled people were to offset the darkness that tries to come in from godless regions of the World. But the church has lost the Spirit of God and is merely moving in a dead form. The church is, for the most part, totally unable to offset the powers of darkness. And, today evil powers are coming into America in droves with doctrines of devils and every evil and vile thing.
We have a defenseless land! America is spiritually defenseless! God gives you a defense that puts off all intruders that come in to take over your land. It is a privilege serving God. It is a wonderful, glorious way to go God’s way and under HIS anointing. There is no substitute for the mighty working of God by HIS Holy Spirit in a land, a nation.
Happy is the man whose God is the Lord!
We cannot move against the powers of darkness in ourselves. These big names that think they can take on the devil will be destroyed. We only attack Satan if directly commanded to do so by God. In that case you know that God is with you. You better stay in the spot God put you in, if you are totally under HIS direction. But if you are cold or lukewarm you better move closer to God. We go no further than God lets us Go. We are under HIS command!
Many churches and pastors have thought that they could defeat Satan in themselves. God gave Brother Freedom a dream showing him a group of arrogant pastors boasting about their power over Satan. But Satan sent an evil wind that blew them all over to the ground.
We need to be cautious in God with sweet words unto the Lord. If we move in the Holy Ghost and by God’s direction our words can become a great power, that when we speak it brings forth a direction that changes the course that is set ahead of you. Your just being present on the scene can change the whole picture for God’s glory, if you are where you should be and if you are directed and empowered by the Holy Ghost. Your presence can interrupt wrong activities if you are where you should be in God. You will have a clear path, a shining path:
“But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.” [Proverbs 4:18]
It is because, if you walk in the fullness of God, you have a magnetism of God that disturbs all wrong spirits. It clears them out of the way. You walk through a clear path. Those evil things are still there, but they move out of your way. Because of the power of God Almighty working in the purified and dedicated life, you can have a clear path.
The Bible says, “…lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us…” [Hebrews 12:1] Be steadfast because God will strengthen us in our weakness, in HIM! When we get so mighty in ourselves and we start acting like we don’t need God, God says, “Well, goodbye!” We think we can make it anyway. NO YOU CAN’T!!
God made us that we have a flimsy make-up. Things bother us, but if we have God there with us we don’t feel that because God is running interference for us all the time. God is keeping every thing away from us. But when that wall of protection falls off of us, WE ARE HELPLESS! And we will fail! We have to humble ourselves every day!
The Bible says, “…be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” [1st Peter 5:5a-7] That’s pretty simple! But, it is hard to do!!
“Be sober…” That means thinking about God. “…be vigilant…” That means watching. “…because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:…” [1st Peter 5:8]
“DEVOUR” means that Satan destroys it. Satan literally consumes it. Satan wants to take it out of his way. When you mess with the devil you are not messing with a beginner or a weakling. You are messing with the principality of the air. [See Ephesians 2:2]
Our Nation has refused to sweep and clean itself spiritually. The United States has probably sent more missionaries than any place in the world, given more money to others, sent out more humanitarian aid. But all of our good works cannot bring us closer to God. Being holy and pure as a Nation is more than doing good deeds. We must have God HIMSELF moving within our borders in a mighty way. We cannot fully express this truth. It is too deep.
God lets you become HIS child. Until you become HIS child you are really sort of helpless. We all start out as babies. God showed Brother Freedom that Heaven is full of spiritual babies who never grew much in God. God wants there to be mature adults in HIM. God wants some grownups who have grown up in God and have come to the fullness of the stature of Jesus Christ in Heaven. Those grown ups in God are going to ride those mighty horses and come back with Jesus to the final battle on earth.
The power of God’s armies and God’s abilities is beyond all imagination! Just one of God’s angels, the Bible teaches, can destroy an army of over 180,000 men in a single night. [See 2nd Kings 19:35] God is real, more real than we are. If you think you can slander God with no effect you are wrong. Those who swear and curse are mocking God, taking HIS Name in a wrong way, in vane.
Filthy joking is terrible. God wants us to be happy, but God is not pleased with some of things that are spoken by people just for a laugh. There are repercussions and consequences in God’s economy. God is tired of all the wrong words and wrong things that go on. God speaks against foolish talk and jesting or joking around in Ephesians 5:4.
God spoke to Brother Freedom and told him that he must stop any foolish talk and all foolish joking around because these would remove the anointing of God from his life.
This is a part of spiritual growth. We start out our new life in Christ as spiritual babies. But God demands growth. Giving up foolish talk and jokes was just one of many steps in Brother Freedom’s spiritual growth.
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” [2nd Corinthians 5:17]
But you have to keep that process of renewing going forward. God sees it as a done deal because God has the perfect eye of faith. But it is our job to go forward, looking up and following the Lord. Our minds have to be renewed daily. God doesn’t change every aspect of our lives in an instant. We move slowly toward perfection. We couldn’t stand to be changed all at once anyway. But we need to continue in the positive direction with God the Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
Through this forward, positive walk you receive a purpose and a calling because God is forever faithful to help you to walk in that positive direction.
But in America we have not done this! We have not done this in our churches! Instead our churches have walked in mediocre church meetings. We study the Bible and have prayer meetings, but we do it without the true anointing of the Holy Ghost. There is little or no move of the Spirit of God in our churches.
Jesus said that in the last days we must worship God in Spirit and in Truth. [See John 4:23-24] That means you use the Bible, which represents the Truth of God and Jesus is Truth, living Truth. But the Bible alone is so powerful it can kill. The Bible is like a powerful machine. It can do a great work, but it can also kill because of its great power. The Spirit of God brings forth life. The Spirit of God is the Holy Ghost, the Holy Spirit.
We must worship God using the Bible and the Holy Ghost together. God wants us to bring forth life through HIM, by HIS Word (the Bible) and by HIS Spirit (The Holy Ghost).
America has lost the life that God gave it as a unique nation. It has lost its vitality. It has lost its direction. Most of the big Television Preachers are not thinking about the return of Christ. Instead they are thinking about their own unique endeavors.
Jesus is coming. Jesus is returning soon. Christians are supposed to be here waiting for Jesus. Our mind is supposed to be focused on Jesus and HIS coming to earth again. But instead churches are focused on new buildings, new programs. The focus is all on THINGS!
The Bible says: “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,…” [2nd Corinthians 6:17]
The modern church has made it so easy for everyone to be a Christian that you can be an alcoholic and still be a prominent attender in a church. You can be addicted to cigarettes or some other addiction and be important in church.
Your freedom comes from God! There is no other way to be set free! When you have spiritual freedom in God there are no bondages. But people say, “We have got to have freedom so we can smoke. We need our freedom to drink alcohol. We need our freedom so we can go out and be lustful. That is NOT freedom!”
No, that is bondage!!! That is pure bondage from the power of sin. Sin will destroy you! God will set you FREE! The elements of God are holy! The Bible says:
“Follow...holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:…” [Hebrews 12:14]
That is pretty positive: No man shall see God without the quality of holiness! That speaks to even Brother Freedom! If Brother Freedom doesn’t keep himself pure everyday, Brother Freedom will go down to a bad end! The Bible says if you know a lot of spiritual truth much is going to be required of you. Much is going to be required of us because we know a lot. [See Luke 12:48] The more you know the more that is required.
The reason for all this is because God is God. This is God’s world, God’s universe, God creation. God has every right to set all the rules.
Because God is God you need to know what is on God’s mind! It isn’t what is on the pastor’s mind! It is what is on God’s mind that counts! Pastors are supposed to do their job and carry out directives from God’s mind, not from their own mind!
Brother Freedom is all one-way…God’s way! Brother Freedom is tired of people distorting the true Word of God! They are distorting the wonderful Word of God. They are taking God’s Word out of context. They are doing as the old example said, “Then Judas…went and hanged himself.” “Go and do thou likewise” That is taking two scriptures that should not be connected and connecting them. [See Matthew 27:3-5 and Luke 10:37]
Only the Holy Spirit has the power to take Scriptures from two different places and put them together. We have to have the anointing and the leadership of the Holy Ghost, the Holy Spirit to work with Holy Scripture. Only the Holy Spirit knows how to interpret Scripture.
We have to take the entire Bible in context and by the direction of the Holy Ghost.
We do these terrible things, like making whole denominations out of lifting some truth out of the Bible and elevating that single truth as the model for a denomination.
We need the Spirit of God and we need to know what the Spirit of God is speaking. That is where we are to get our direction, our assignments, our goals, our interpretations, our entire program.
The Holy Spirit is the one who gives us the mind of Christ. The Holy Ghost takes God’s opinions, God’s plans, God’s points and puts them in the heart and mind of God’s Spirit filled people! Jesus made this possible by dying on that cross for us. But we must grow into the deeper life and come into the fullness of the Holy Ghost indwelling. This is what Christian maturity and adulthood is all about. We grow in the nature and admonition of God. You must develop in God by the Spirit of God.
But, if you add your thinking to God’s thinking, then you get a mixture! A mixture is a compromise! Compromising always means somebody loses ground and it isn’t God. America is compromised because it is full of mixture. America has lost much ground in what they are doing today.
America has compromised in the area of tradition. They have decided to follow the same old way of man that they started out with. It worked to some degree in the past. In the Full Gospel Business Men’s movement they said that their way worked in the past and it will continue to work.
NO!! You need a new policy from Heaven everyday of your life! You need to know Jesus everyday of your life and say, “Lord, what is YOUR plan???” Because God told Brother Freedom a long time ago that what is happening today would happen and Brother Freedom has seen it happen. God knew what was ahead and what mankind would do. Fifteen years ago God spoke to Brother Freedom that the compromise of men was ahead, that they would not listen to what the Spirit of God was saying to the churches. They would listen to each other instead. God told Brother Freedom that this horrible thing would come in gradually, getting more and more intense and pretty soon it would be like a tornado.
Daniel prophesied that in the last days terrible things would transpire and we are in the last days. [See Daniel chapter 11] These things are going to get more and more intense. Things are not going to get better until after they have gotten worse and Jesus has to enter the scene and take control.
God is speaking, “Straighten up children!!” God is very merciful! God has a lot of compassion. HE cares! If God didn’t care HE would not have made us!! God is forever faithful!
This is a Land that said they loved God, but Brother Freedom says that this Land has a halfway love for God. God has given believers the tools that they could run all out for God and do mighty exploits. But instead of using God’s many tools we have chosen to follow the direction of man, of thinkers, of intellectuals.
God sent Brother Freedom to a Christian man to speak prophetically to that man and tell him that in God’s sight that man was “A MAN PLEASER.” So many believers are so concerned about what people think of them. They are more interested in pleasing people than in pleasing God.
God sees where we are. We don’t hide anything from God! God can see that even though we say we love HIM we are patronizing the World and the things of the World. HE sees that. HE sees our hearts. HE knows that we are serving HIM with our lips and not with our total lives. The Bible says:
“…be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain…” [1st Corinthians 15:58]
We are not supposed to be “shaky shaky!” We are to be steadfast and unmovable, abounding in the work of God! We are to be “strong, strong, strong” in the work of God. We are to have the anointing from on HIGH.
God is there to give us the unction to function, but the church world does not see that clearly.
When God called Brother Freedom God said, “The churches are not going to like you.” And God was correct. The churches don’t care much for Brother Freedom. They see him as out of order, not submissive to their leadership. But the reason for that is that Brother Freedom takes his orders directly from the Throne Room and all believers need to be doing that. That weakens church infrastructures. But, it strengthens the true Kingdom of God.
God called Freedom to come out of the visible churches. God told Brother Freedom that we cannot change the churches. They have chosen their way and they are determined to go in the direction they believe in. Only the supernatural power of God can change them and God never forces people. HE let’s them go their way.
God is in the judging department, so Brother Freedom does not judge them. How it will all come out is up to the Lord God. But Brother Freedom does know what the Word of God says and Freedom has chosen to go in that safer direction.
Brother Freedom knows that there is too much to lose if we don’t stay straight with God.
Brother Freedom shares prophetically that if things continue as they are, the United States could find itself “on the floor” tomorrow. Things ahead for this Nation are going to get tough.
There are some crazy people in the world today who have the atomic bomb. Many people in the world do not like the United States because even though they are not saints themselves and they are very shady, even so they hate what we have done to their young men with our pornography. These haters of America know pornography puts men out of hand. It causes troubles for them. Their men get out of control when pornography gets hold of them. The United States has done that. Our nation has been very faithful in those kind of cruddy things! Look at the movies right now. Our entertainment is terrible. It corrupts people and we are not fooling other cultures.
We are breeding these evil things into our own people. Little children, by the time they are 10 years old are out here going the wrong direction already. This is wicked!! It is terrible!! It is America’s fault! It is our leaders fault! We should not permit this! Years ago our media wasn’t so awful. But we have changed things and now it is terrible.
We thought the past was good, but now we are going to have fun. We’re going to spice it up!! But in reality we are spicing it down. We are bringing our nation down to a lower end happening.
We need the upper things. We don’t need the lower things! The lower things come in by themselves. They don’t need any help. The upper things you have to work at it. The upper things of purity and goodness have to be sought after. The Bible says,
“…work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.” [Philippians 2:12b]
“The Lord is not slack concerning HIS promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” [2nd Peter 3:9]
Repent America!! REPENT!!
America, if you don’t repent we are all going to be down here in a soup kitchen. There may not even be that. There are people in this little town of 13,000 living under the bridge right now. There is troubles in this Land. God has shown Brother Freedom that our Nation is BROKE! We are so far down that we can never, ever pay back what we owe! If anyone else did this they would be prosecuted. We won’t allow individuals to go so far down the road of wrong borrowing, but our leaders do it willfully! And God is upset with our leaders! God is real and HE does not play around.
God wants to give us more abundant life, but the devil comes for one reason, that you might end up living with that devil forever in an awful place. Take this to heart this day.
