Scripture Reading:  Jude 1:24; 2nd Peter 1:2-10; Jude 1:10-20

Brother Freedom begins by reminding us that we need to be thankful.  When you are thankful you will grow toward being a champion for the Lord God.

The Bible says our words can be a snare for us, our words can even cause us to spiritually fall.

It takes time to attain growth in God.  These items that Peter mentions in the reading above are “a must” for spiritual growth.

It is important to seek the face of God.

Holy and pure things of God have a tendency of multiplying within you.

Growth in God happens very much as a student in school grows and progresses.  In spiritual growth we must take on the wonderful nature of God.

If we seek God constantly we will never fall.

Brother Freedom grew greatly when he tithed his time reading the Word of God.  He was directed by the Lord to spend two hours and 20 minutes daily reading the Bible.  He was told to read the Word like a hungry man eats a huge dinner.  Don’t try to analyze it…just consume it.  Let the Word get into your spirit.  God’s Word is more for the spirit than for the mind.  This truth baffles scholars.   If you listen to many of the sermons poured through Brother Freedom you will learn more about this.

We need to be full of the glory of God.

We must decrease that God may increase in us.

When we start trying to mouth our religiosity we are getting into the flesh.  The true spiritual life is lived more than spoken and that comes by the Holy Ghost working in us.

Walking in self is extremely dangerous.

Growth must be continuous.

The old “praying through” method really and truly works.  You pray until you break through into the glory of God.

Pride trips us up.

The churches have forgotten about praying.  How many worship services have you been in where there is very little praying and very short prayers.  Most people are bored by prayer, and the reason for that is that most prayers that you hear today are un-anointed by the Spirit of God.

Normal isn’t good enough.  You have to be extreme to excel in the things of the Lord.

The prophet is a spiritual policeman.

Many miss-use the gifts of God.

The Word of  God fits all times and all places.  The word of God is parallel for all times.
